Disqus Profile: My Connections

Disqus Profile is not another social media account. Rather it’s the universal management tool for commenters and the most efficient way to integrate all your different online identities.

Under Connections you can pre-authenticate your Twitter, Facebook, or Open ID and reblog your comments across multiple services such as Tumblr, Wordpress, Movable Type, and Typepad.

If you’ve commented before using Twitter, Facebook, or OpenID without a Disqus account, now all your comments will be automatically merged once connected.

Also add your Twitter and Facebook Avatars to your profile.

    I'm pulling my hair out with this!

    When I try to sync my facebook account, it asks me for my login details (on the pop up screen) but then after it's done that, it logs me in as 'None'. It actually says, "You are connected to Facebook as None". So then it doesn't let me use my Facebook picture as my avatar, as it doesn't recognise that I'm connected. I AM CONNECTED BECAUSE MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT TELLS ME SO!

    Please help! All I'm asking for is for my FB avatar to be shown with my blog posts, not my Disqus avatar!

  • This new version has a great design. It took me a bit of time to get used to it (still can't see new comments on the mod panel?) but I am ultimately satisfied.

    We are receiving notifications by emails for new comments but we don't see them on administration.
    Also, some comments are already moderated but still "unapproved"
  • Is there a way to set a default for these options. Like always tweet and/or always to Facebook
