Setting Up Disqus Comments On Sandvox

Sandvox is a powerful website creation tool created by Karelia for the Mac. Disqus was just recently integrated into Sandvox, granting users a more diverse option for commenting.

How do I get started?

Instructions: (wiki)

  • Launch Sandvox
  • Click Inspector
  • Click Site
  • Scroll down and choose Disqus from the drop-down
  • Enter your Shortname
    example: shortname.disqus.com
  • Publish your site

And you’re set!

I'd like Disqus to provide a link I could direct users to that let them choose an existing community page or create a new one, then post the chosen page back to OurDoings to complete the integration. That would be really slick. Right now I have to tell users "Sign up there first" before they can turn on Disqus.
