What is Lijit?
Lijit allows you to easily create your own search engine. One that searches your blog, bookmarks, photos, blogroll, comments, and much more.
Why is this important?
The comments section is one of the most valuable places on a site. It’s an excellent indicator of reader engagement and the conversation taking place around a topic. The integration of comments into search results is a valuable step forward in the integration of content and widgets.

Thanks Lijit for your hard work,
Giannii

Today is a day of days as our moderation page received some slick upgrades from our development team.
What has changed?
- Search: I know some of you have been thinking “It would be nice to have a way to search and sift through my comments”. Now you can! Search your forum comments by typing any word in the search field. Pressing enter or clicking the search icon will activate the search.

- Pagination: We removed pagination and in doing so we decreased load time of the moderation page. Click Load more comments… at the bottom of page to append comments 25 per page.

- Easier navigation:

- Toggling between comments and threads and the different list filters is now easier to navigate. We preserve your current moderation in the browser location bar, so you can now use your back button, open content in new tabs, or browse to a list filter directly from the URL.
- Revised Comment View: We shuffled the options on the comments to make each field readily viewable for you. You can get all the information you need on one page.
- 1. User Avatar
- 2. User name
- 3. Email
- 4. User IP Address
- 5. User Website
- 6. Comment Text
- 7. Date & Time
- 8. Post Name
- 9. Forum Name
- Closing A Thread: You may now close a thread in just one click.

We would love to hear your thoughts and opinions in the comment section below.
Cheers,
Giannii

InYourShirt.tv is an online television network that produces unique, original and creative shows hosted by talented, vibrant individuals. Last week they launched a new station called band.inyourshirt.tv which helps artists be heard and discovered. They are contending with the goliath known as Myspace in the music realm and this is why they think they are better.
Their site utilizes DISQUS’s Generic Code which is used for most custom sites and may be applied to almost any site on the web. It’s very easy to install if you want comments on a static page or a content management system that is not supported by us. If you want to learn more about our Generic Code you’ll find it here.
Be sure to check out InYourShirt.tv!
